Daily Bread / Greer Soup Kitchen
The mission of The Daily Bread Ministries is to feed the hungry by providing at least one hot nutritious meal a day to whoever will come. We strive to serve struggling families, the poor, the homeless and the addicted by ministering to the whole person. It is our hope that our clients and the community will be able to recognize the love of Christ through our actions.

Lots of opportunities here. United Ministries provides a continuum of care that moves program participants from a survival mode to stabilization to barrier removal to self-reliance. Survival programs include emergency assistance in the form of food and assistance with rent and utilities, and a day shelter for the homeless. Stabilization programs involve extensive case management. Barrier Removal programs include Employment Readiness that helps participants through the employment process to obtain and maintain jobs earning a minimum of $8.50 per hour.

Meals on Wheels Greenville County
Meals on Wheels is more than a meal. A hot, nutritious meal delivered by a loving and caring volunteer fights malnutrition, depression and a sense of isolation. Meals on Wheels is not a United Way funded agency but is supported entirely by gifts from individuals, churches, civic groups, and businesses.
